Atlanta, GA – Precise Systems, Inc. was again honored to be recognized among the 100 fastestgrowing businesses owned or operated by a University of Georgia graduate during the 2019 Bulldog 100 celebration on January 26th at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Atlanta.
Precise Systems specializes in design, development and fielding of aircraft, ships and weapon systems for the U.S. Department of Defense. Said Tom Curtis, our CEO and UGA alumnus, “For another year, the Precise team has exceeded expectations. I couldn’t be prouder of Precise’s contributions to our nation’s defense. I’m thrilled and humbled to accept this award on behalf of the men and women of Precise who made our success a reality.”
Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors partnered with the UGA Alumni Association to review nominated businesses’ financial records to determine the ranked list. Approximately 500 nominations were received for the 2019 Bulldog 100. Each organization must have had annual revenues in excess of $100,000 and be owned or operated by a UGA graduate. The Bulldog 100 recognizes the fastest-growing businesses regardless of size by focusing on a three-year compounded annual growth rate. The average compounded annual growth rate for this year’s Bulldog 100 businesses was 62%, a record high.
The Bulldog 100 program continues to show both the power of small business as an economic driver as well as the amazing accomplishments of UGA alumni,” said Meredith Gurley Johnson, executive director of the UGA Alumni Association. “We are proud to celebrate their achievements.” For more information about Bulldog 100 or to view the complete list of 2019 Bulldog 100 businesses, visit www.alumni.uga.edu/b100.
