Precise Systems provides a myriad of engineering services to our customers such as systems engineering,
architectural design, requirements management, hardware and software development support, aircraft
ground and flight testing support, information technology, information security, information assurance,
technical data tracking and review, technical program metrics, and risk management. We are experienced
in evaluating technology alternatives, developing alternative conceptual system designs, developing detailed
operational concepts, planning for development programs, preparing required documentation, evaluating mission
planning requirements, performing operational analyses of mission scenarios, performing analysis of hardware
and software integration, and determining test and evaluation requirements.
Precise Systems provides a full range of Systems Engineering solutions to our customers. We have professionals
with a host of experience in a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines including: Aeronautical Engineering,
Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.
The specifics of what we do include:
- Provide logistic support of the risk management process. This includes identifying and mitigating problems that directly contribute to a risk area. We coordinate technical interchange meetings to prepare technical papers to address modification of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and associated documentation.
- Provide production and technical support of engineering/production data and equipment, government furnished equipment (GFE), and system configuration items. Our acquisition services ensure inclusion of issues relating to system supportability and availability.
- Provide acquisition manager technical support services to define functional and operator/system interface requirements, system requirements and specifications. We ensure traceability of requirements throughout the requirements-to-design process. We conduct platform-by-platform logistics analyses and documentation of the requirements for installation and operation of a system.
- Provide engineering and programmatic support to include requirements analysis, functional analysis, and documentation in systems/subsystems specifications and associated acquisition documentation.
- Provide configuration management and information assurance support to ensure compliance with the latest DoD, and NAVAIR policy and guidance.
Precise provides day-to-day aircraft production support encompassing status of operations and analyses
of production issues with U.S. and non-U.S. suppliers. We visit the manufacturing sites on a rotational
basis conducting technical investigations and plant site inspections to validate data, plans, and reports
from multiple prime contractors and their subcontractors. This allows us to evaluate progress against
contract and detail specification requirements to identify omissions, failures to meet specs, and/or the
need for additional data. Precise Systems reviews assembly instructions, bills of materials (BOMs),
assembly work orders, material lead times, manufacturing requirements planning systems (MRPS) data,
trade studies, and special tooling (ST) / special test equipment (STE) requirements. We review data
deliverbles and provide comments to our customers in the form of weekly highlights, meeting minutes,
debriefs, reports, and presentations. Team Precise has and will continue to support Production
Readiness Reviews (PRRs) to assist in accomplishing overall production determinations and assessing
production/manufacturing planning and execution risks. Specific tasks include:
- Production Team Coordination.
- Liaison between Production and Security.
- Vital Component Process Tracking.
- UID Implementation.
- Schedule Analyses.
- Risk Reviews.
- Spares Analyses.
- Paint/Finish Specifications.
- Long Lead Item Analyses.
- Transportation Support.
Precise Systems provides all aspects of configuration management support for our customers,
drawing on our extensive experience spanning all phases of weapon and aircraft acquisition programs
from concept refinement and Initial Operating Capability (IOC) to operations and support of Full
Operating Capability (FOC). This past experience includes the use of industry CM tools (e.g, CITIS)
and Government-owned CM and product assurance tools. We also develop new interfaces to provide a
more automated, reliable and traceable process. We ensure that configuration item products are correct,
consistent, complete, and compliant with governing policies (such as NAVAIRINST 4130.1C and NAVAIRINST 4355.19B).
We continue to build the database of linked program documentation that provides historical traceability of
requirements changes with detailed linkage of source documents to functional, allocated and production
baseline documents.
Precise has extensive experience supporting the Navy’s flight clearance process. Our experienced staff
of AIR4.0P-trained flight clearance facilitators provide support and coordination between AIR-4.0P, NAVAIR
Engineering Competencies, IPTs, and the APMSE for the issuance of permanent and interim flight clearances.
We coordinate flight clearance pre-planning meetings to document and identify AIR-4.0P, PMA, and NAVAIR
Engineering Competency technical data requirements necessary to support flight clearance approval (in
accordance with NAVAIRINST 13034.1C). Our team uses web-based E-Power flight clearance software to manage
and track the progress of flight clearances from review through approval, and assists in publishing final
flight clearances using Government TURBOPREP Software. Team Precise compiles and provides status reports
of flight clearance progression through the approval process, to include tracking of current flight
clearances through their expiration.
